I called them to check whether they are open during the pandemic, luckily they were. The room was nice but very basic which is normal for the cheap price. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Es un lugar sumamente económico, acogedor, limpio, familiar. El personal es muy atento y respetuoso. Tiene unos detalles muy lindos y su sencillez es uno de ellos. Los baños son compartidos, pero en todo momento están limpios. Lxs huéspedes van desde familias chiapanecas hasta turistas extranjerxs.
Nice little hostel. Staff were great, always so helpful. It was very clean, rooms comfortable and bathrooms constantly cleaned. There is an area for washing clothes, if you need to. Ten minute walk to the city center, which is very nice! The collectivo terminal to the ruins is only about 5 minutes away and the one for San Cristobal, just around the corner and a couple of blocks down. Also, don't forget the waterfalls, as I did. They're Spectacular, from what I've seen of videos friends have shown me and only a short distance from the city! The ruins are only about 30 minutes by collectivo, as well!
